Site Preparation

Site Preparation in Central Oregon

Land clearing, stump removal, demolition, and lot prep — so your build starts clean and on time.

Every build starts with a clean, level site. Wright Excavation handles the full site-prep package in-house — clearing, demolition, and rough grading — so your framing crew shows up to a lot that's ready to work, not a list of surprises.

What's Included

Our site preparation covers everything between raw ground and a build-ready pad:

  • Land and lot clearing
  • Tree, stump, and brush removal
  • Juniper and vegetation clearing
  • Structure and slab demolition
  • Debris cleanup and haul-off
  • Rough grading and lot leveling
  • Erosion-control and silt-fence setup
  • Building-pad layout

How We Work

We walk the site with you, flag what stays and what goes, and sequence the work so the lot is cleared, stripped, and roughed to grade in one efficient mobilization. No leaving a half-cleared site for the next trade to trip over.

Central Oregon site prep

High-desert lots around Bend and Redmond come with their own challenges — dense juniper, embedded lava rock, and thin topsoil over basalt. We clear and strip with that in mind, salvaging usable topsoil and breaking out rock where the pad needs it, so grading and foundation work later don't hit surprises.

Site Preparation — Common Questions

Do you handle tree and stump removal?

Yes. Clearing, tree removal, and stump grinding are part of our standard site-prep scope. We haul the debris off-site so your lot is left clean.

Can you demolish an existing structure?

We handle demolition of sheds, slabs, and small structures as part of site prep, including hauling and disposal of the debris.

How soon can you start site prep?

We respond within one business day and can typically get out for a site visit within 3–5 business days to scope and bid the work.
